LIT Method is the foundation for a lifelong workout; we provide a safe, functional and effective workout that minimizes impact on bones and joints, while sculpting and strengthening your muscles through our unique resistance band training system. The LIT Method is broken up in four phases: Compound, Isolation, Corrective Posture/Core, & Recovery.
1. COMPOUND PHASE
We start all of our workouts out with compound and functional movements to warm your body up, elevate your heartrate, and burn the maximum amount of calories. This will help reduce the risk of injury, strengthen your core, and help you with your everyday life!
2. ISOLATION PHASE
We follow the compound phase with isolation exercises to specifically target the pre-exhausted muscles with our resistance bands. This allows the smaller muscle fibers to engage and reduce the risk of injury while building lean muscle!
3. CORRECTIVE POSTURE / CORE
Despite the importance of having good posture, most of us don’t do anything to improve it. We go about our lives with hunched backs and imbalanced hips, and deal with pain because we think it’s normal. Most postural deviations occur because the muscles that work to hold a joint in place are imbalances. By strengthening the imbalanced muscles in your body through our resistance band training system, LIT helps correct your posture and strengthen your core.
The benefits of foam rolling have to do with the mobility of the fascia. Fascia is a fibrous layer of connective tissue that surrounds all of the muscles in our body. Without proper mobility, fibers of the fascia become linked and they bind to our muscles and nerves, inhibiting norml motion and causing pain. Some other amazing benefits of foam rolling are: increased blood flow, helps relieve muscle tenision, increase rang of motion, and increases recovery time.
